Scott Nelson

Board Treasurer, Ernst & Young LLP

Scott is a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young LLP’s Transaction Advisory Services practice and has more than 14 years of experience in public accounting.  Prior to joining the Transaction Advisory Services practice in April 2007, he worked in the audit practice of Ernst & Young and primarily served SEC registrants in a variety of industries.  Scott is a CPA in the State of North Carolina and received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Appalachian State University.

In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for Project One Scholarship Fund, Scott is actively involved with the Appalachian State University Accounting Advisory Board and Appalachian State University Yosef Club Advisory Board, and he previously served as Chairman of the Olympic High School Academy of Finance Board.  Scott and his wife Amy have two children and reside in Denver, North Carolina.
